Accessibility
We build this site to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. Federal partners will recognize the standard: we target WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the basis of Section 508.
What we do
- Color contrast meeting WCAG AA minimums on every text/background pairing, on light and dark sections alike
- Full keyboard operability, with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link on every page
- Reduced-motion support: all scroll animations and continuous motion respect the prefers-reduced-motion setting
- Screen-reader semantics: landmark regions, one h1 per page, ordered headings, labeled forms, and alt text on meaningful images
- Touch targets sized to WCAG 2.2 minimums across pointer types
- Automated accessibility checks (axe-core, WCAG 2.x A/AA rulesets) run against every page as part of our release process
Known limitations
The interactive 3D scenes (the homepage Moon and The Journey) are decorative and progressive: all information they convey is also available as text, and they disable their motion under reduced-motion settings. The downloadable capability statement is provided as a PDF; if you need its content in another format, ask and we will provide it.
Tell us what is not working
If any part of this site is difficult to use with your assistive technology, email info@constanellis.com with the page and what happened. Accessibility reports go to the same inbox as customer inquiries and get the same response time: one to two business days.
