Program Manager
Base salary range. Actual offer depends on experience and location. Equity and bonus are additional.
Contracts are won by business development and kept by programs. You own execution from award through delivery: schedule, cost, performance, and the customer relationship. The customers are serious and the cadence is real.
Responsibilities
- Serve as customer interface across assigned contracts
- Own the integrated master schedule, milestone tracking, and risk register for your programs
- Run program reviews and coordinate deliverables and contract modifications
- Interface with engineering, manufacturing, and finance on execution
Requirements
- 7+ years program management in aerospace or defense
- Earned-value management proficiency; PMP or equivalent preferred
- Experience on federal contract vehicles
- Eligible for an active U.S. government clearance
What the first year looks like
- Every funded program has a current schedule, risk register, and monthly rhythm the customer can set a watch by
- Deliverables and milestone billing never surprise finance or the customer
- Program reviews that surface problems early enough to fix them cheaply
Nice to have, not required
- Earned-value management on cost-plus work
- Hardware program background, not only software delivery
