Senior Software / AI Engineer
Base salary range. Actual offer depends on experience and location. Equity and bonus are additional.
NEXUS turns sensor data into decisions, and the platform underneath it is yours. You build and operate the pipelines behind multi-source fusion and space domain awareness analytics in secure environments: training, deployment, uptime. The output goes to people who act on it.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement ML inference pipelines for multi-source data fusion
- Build the data products and delivery layer behind the NEXUS subscription
- Deploy and operate orchestrated clusters in secure cloud environments
- Develop model training, validation, and deployment workflows for production ML
- Own platform uptime, performance monitoring, and incident response
Requirements
- 5+ years software or ML engineering in production environments
- Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platform expertise
- PyTorch or TensorFlow experience; sensor or track data a strong plus
- Eligible for an active U.S. government clearance
What the first year looks like
- The ingestion and correlation pipeline running in production against live catalogs
- First subscription data products delivered to a paying customer, with uptime you are proud of
- A deployment path where shipping a model improvement is boring rather than an event
Nice to have, not required
- Astrodynamics or orbit-determination exposure
- Experience building in accredited or classified environments
- Data licensing or API productization experience
